I'm interested in what stays when everything unnecessary is removed. Not the moment itself, but the feeling it leaves behind. Something calm, steady, and enduring.

I draw in single sessions. Tone-on-tone, loose lines, the studio mood of work in progress. I never finish a drawing all the way. I stop when it still has air to breathe.What I'm looking for isn't precision. It's character. The small things only you would recognise.
